I maybe wrong but after WWII Japan has not been in a war that I know of. Thy have stayed with the peace agreement.:salute:

I loved your choice of music, too. I can still sing all 4 verses. It has much more depth than "God Bless America", asking that God mend our flaws, "confirm our souls in self-control" and refine our motives so that "All success be nobleness", etc. At one time it was in the running to be our National Anthem, but that finally fell to Key's famous (and famously difficult to sing) stanzas.

I often wish they'd sing at least three verses of that one, as well. The third verse is a bit gloating, and I didn't even know it was there until I looked it up just now.
