The new Chinese Stealth fighters have got much news coverage, but maybe the most important Chinese fighter of the last years is the Chengdu J10 fighter which for the first time bring a modern indigenous made fighter into service. It might not be as advanced as the latest 4 generation western jets, but it has closed much of the gap. Apparently the J-10 has beaten the J-11 (Flanker clones) repetitively during recent DACT exercises.

Bear studios (Bill Wolfgen) released a great representation of both the J-10A single seater and the J-10S twin seater (also includes the prototypes) a few years back. I had a fps problem with the first release, but the current 1.5 works superb on my computer. The avionics are pretty well modelled for a 4 gen fighter and includes both Chinese and English VC textures.

I have done some improvements on the textures making new Chinese stars and tail numbers.

Morning CAP two ship with J-10A "30652" and J-10B "50738". Of interest is the weapon loadout which on the J-10 includes the Israeli Python 3 (called PL-8 in China) and a licenced copy of the Selenia Aspide (Italian AIM-7) called the PL-11.

Nice work! Do you also have their release of the J-10B, the updated variant with the DSI inlet?
