'Vintage Computer Ads'

That brought back some memories, the ATT computer was actually manufactured by Olivetti, at the time Olivetti was huge in the Mini computer market especially in the banking sector. I worked for a dealer and that very computer was what I used to learn MSDOS, Unix, and Windows 1.0a when it first hit the market. Man I loved that thing, single 5.25" 360 floppy drive and a whopping 256K of RAM it was just smokin. Then went the next model came out we actuallt had colour and it had an unbelievable 10 meg hard drive - I was sure I would never be able to fill that thing...

Oh Yeah that first Olivetti I had, it came with this program called Microsoft Flight Simulator Ver 1.0 in a green coil bound book and a single 5.25" floppy disk, it was kind of a nea little program, I have kept up with the upgrades over the years and still mess with that flight sim stuff now and then...lol

Yeah, I can believe it! The last hard drive I bought for my then current 486 'puter was only 40MB and cost about $500!!!

Or even a lot more recently...

My Samsung 64GB SSD drives cost me over £600 each in Jan 2008! Today you'll find faster, better drives for under £100!:kilroy:
