Virga Studio Alphajet Released 6/16

Awesome, another favorite from my FSX/P3D days. There was a simple model (more like an Alpha version) for MSFS but it wasn't even worth a bother. Looking forward to the Virga Studio rendition.

A quick flight but seems to be a good flight model.

Virga has an interesting connection to aviation. It is a meteorological phenomenon requiring that you be above the ground to be in the rain...being on the ground you will be dry. Interesting choice of name for the MSFS Alpha Jet creator.

You are right Jankees: the scale factor of the pilot is too strong.

Generally, we insert a empty in the 3D model, empty that is called PILOT_0, and then to adapt the display of Asobo pilots to the aircraft, we can assign a scale factor so that the feet do not protrude from the floor. There, they were really strong

The price also is strong: 34$

It's definitely on my radar but I'll wait a bit to see if the pilot is adjusted and if any quirks show up with this release.

Looks great, I will definitely buy it.
However, the question is whether I will have to pay again for the following version MSFS2024.
Doesn't found any info about.
Does anyone have any knowledge on this?
If so, I will opt for the 24 version.
I agree, that the pilot figure has the wrong scale factor.

I just bought it. Haven't seen any mention of 2024. But honestly, I wasn't looking.

I got it as well, nice model overall. Gripes: The cockpit and external matte texture models could use some work, the sound file also has issues (it may be a legacy sound file), and I can't find a manual anywhere. Does anyone know how to get the canopy to open? The switches/lever for that have a click-spot but they don't move and I can't find any other switch spot that may unlock & open the canopy. Beyond that, it is a very nice model. Love having it and the Azurpoly Jaguar which is just a magnificent model.

Is it me or are the textures look (very) dull and not very detailed? Not what you expect from a payware release with this price (reference is recent AzurePoly releases).
