• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Virtualcol Jetstream 31

I had a very enjoyable and memorable flight on an American Connection Jetstream 31 out of St Louis to Paducah a few years ago. Curtain open, with 4 Strike Eagles on taxi right in front of us. Then they all took off, single ship full AB departures as we sat at the hold short. Then the flight itself was fun with the open curtain. I was in the front row, offset aisle seat, so I was able to watch everything the pilots were doing from start to finish during the flight. Was able to see out the windscreen the entire time.

Still considering it here. Ha!

About the ground handling, there is a thread about it on Avsim where they predictably trash it for not being PMDG quality (it generally looks fine to me, not the highest-quality ever VC, but whatever) and there is a note about ground handling in the latest post:

"I asked in VirtualCol and they say that the fact of loosing
(sic) control with ground handling is due not turning on hidraulic (sic) pumps properly to make brake works ok. They say that will send an updated manual this week with this information."
