• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Viscount - Legends of Flight

Viscount transplanted without any problems as well.
Shame it never received some attention from the repainters.
Showing it's age a tad but I'd happily stump up some $$$ for a 'new' version.:encouragement:

and you are right, the smoke isn't really needed,
or could changed with an alternate lighter smoke effect.
Also the Viscount looks not to bad.

I am still hesitating, when I see your screen shoots of the Viscount..

Very good question. JF shows there Caravelle as still 'In Development', so its going to be some time before its available, especially for 10$. I don't know of anyone else who has a Caravelle thats V4 compatible.

We know that caravelle borrowed the nose of the Comet, but for the time being, it was the Comet IV which was proposed by Justflight ;)
And does not seems to be still available..
 
there is a great freeware nimrod that the commet panel could merge with, from memory the nimrod had gauge issues in 64bit

Hi, long time FSX flyer now with P3D4. Just want to add I downloaded the latest installer to make sure it was the most up to date and tried it. It wouldn't load, gave me a black screen and P3D crash when trying to load onto a runway (quick load test). So I uninstalled it. Then read this thread and installed it again, this time it loaded properly and flew. So not sure what happened the first time, I haven't edited any files. So if it has crashed for you, try again it could just have been a one off.
