Why do I have this odd impression that all of a sudden I began to notice much more the propellers of all my planes? It comes to the point of disturbing my aiming during a dogfight!! The pics show a bit of it: The engines are at full speed and I still manage to see those propellers...
Am I getting combat fatigued after all?
 
Personally I don't think you're seeing too much. You're just becoming more intuned with your aircraft is all.

Its a mark of an ace pilot.

You drown out all the other things that don't matter around you and you literally become the machine.

It's a beautiful thing.

Thank you but I really manage to crash more planes than HouseHobbit there.:salute:
I'm afraid it may be some bug either with my video card or my game. I also feel that the planes are in some way loosing engine power...I have to see my shrink, I guess.:173go1:

The image on the left is a 5 blade, indeed, but the one on the right is not. And it is precisely this one that annoys me.
 
Have you got your cockpits mixed up? The outside view clearly shows a MkXIV, while unless you've been creative and made a midstone/dark earth/azure skin for the MkXIV, the one on the right is not a MkXIV. I'd suggest it's a MkIX.

Left one is a XIV and right one is a V.

I've showed you the pics of 2 different planes to mean that I'm seeing too much propeller shadows in every plane in the game. That's all.

I remember from a previous discussion in the forum that two different styles/textures of the propeller disc are used in the game. The original shows an almost transparent and even texture. Another texture was used in the Italian aircraft showing the blurred blades of the propeller. Somebody mentioned that was used as the standard for all aircraft in MAW.

maybe the type of video card or the settings of the monitor also play a role, but I know what you mean..........
 
The Spitfire isn't in MAW and in any case uses its own dedicated prop textures.

So no amount of fiddling about with the general prop textures can change that.
