Hey Duckie --

A very close friend of mine worked on those USMC "Rhinos" while stationed in California with VMFP-3, back when they were still flying them. She had quite the lot of stories to tell. I'm looking forward to your finished product on this one.

Keep up the great work, mate... much appreciated. :salute:

What BB said! :icon_lol:

Seriously, I don't always say thank you, but I am really enjoying your series of Phantoms? Many thanks! :icon29:

Hey BB686 and Andy, glad you like the F-4s and very much appreciate you saying so. :salute:

It's a lot o' fun, especially now that I have idnetified most of the texture mappng peculiarities. I say most because everynow and then something jumps up and bites me! :icon_lol:

Any way, like I said, so gald you like 'em. I got several more I want to do, so stay tuned. :running:

Regards Paul Day.

As we say down south,"thank y'all very much."

Hi Paul, the single tank version here is model 12 in Pack 3, which is a late RF-4, I think one of the last 10 produced. Model 12 is part of the extra models that come with the pack 3 paintkit and still available on the AlphaSim freeware site.

...I kind of reckon this one would make a great 'Escort of Honor' for the 'Stoof'! :medals:

:salute: Had to clear some workspace for the E-1. Been seriously collecting photo data over the last few days.

Spoken as a true, methodical pro! :salute:

Research, fact gathering, familiarisation with subject matter...its the part of any project well worth savouring.

Love it!

Got her, Duckie, and thanks.

I'm one of the many who don't put up the "Thanks" often enough, but really do appreciate the work from the masters, including yourself.

Spent my USAF days around the Phantom, and can never get to many. Also grew up and lived near Miramar NAS, so the Navy/Marine birds also have their special places.

Thanks again, and waiting for the next release. :applause::wiggle::salute::guinness:
