Vought F7U Cutlass inbound!

@Paul K, just clarifying when I said “speak for yourself,“ it was with a friendly “airplane nerds chatting over a beer” tone, and not an angry online argument tone. The joy of textural communication!

@noddy, I would love to see all of those brought forward! And so many more classic FSX/P3D birds from Alphasim/Virtavia. I hope enough people snap up the Cutlass that Phil sees the insane amount of effort now necessary to create marketable planes is still worth worthwhile.

Ah yes, the F-105 would be a very welcome return. I've got a couple of Jack Broughton's books, including 'Thud Ridge' which is one of the best aviation memoirs to come out of the Vietnam war, IMO. What I'd really like to see is the Thunderchief in DCS.

Will take a brave man to buy an untested aircraft from the marketplace, where we can't 'fix' it... :)
Hopefully will make it to e.g. simmarket soon.

Wait, what? I didn't see it in the new planes. Gods, I hate Marketplace. To the batcav... er, computer room!
No reviews, no fanfair, I think they sunk it in without telling anyone. It was not in new planes, just found it way down in the list of aircraft.

Pretty sure Marketplace treats certain publishers with priority. I've seen the same "releases four rows down the list" bad treatment given to Flight Replicas releases. (I didn't realize the Dragon Rapide was out due to this.)

Just grabbed it and went for a few quick flights. This 50’s jet fan is really pleased so far, particularly for the price. Visuals are great, and from my limited flying so far, it feels like the problematic beast it was in real life with regard to flight modeling. You have to stay on top of it on landing with those slow-to-respond 1950’s engines. It's definitely one of the better Virtavia birds, with good (or realistically quirky) handling and none of the weird issues that plagued their Skyhawk.

Well-spent $18ish. Thanks, Virtavia! Skyray next, I hope?

Needs some weathering inside and out. Kinda looks like an Aurora model or something from the Linberg line of models. ;-) But the price is right for an aircraft that no one else is going to make.
