VRS F-18E Weapons

Is there anybody who can tell me which number or letter DDS file covers the weapons on the VRS F-18E for FSX? Some of the repaints I have the weapons are properly textured but some of the textures, the weapon texture seem to be scrambled but the rest of the airframe is fine. I know there are many talented people who visit this forum who could answer this question. Thanks in advance.

Regards Paul Day.

All of the non-TacPacK weapons are in the "Texture" folder located in the main VRS_FA-18E folder. There are numerous .dds files that include diffuse, specular and bump files. The files are named by weapon type.

I think I understand what you are saying. The weapons textures are in the texture folder. What I don't understand is why some repaints contain proper textures for the weapons and some repaints the weapons texture seem to be completely scrambled. In all the textures all the texture.cfg's are the same.

fallback.1=..\texture
fallback.2=..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture
fallback.3=..\..\..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture

One thing to check is take a look in the repaint texture folders that have the problem textures you're talking about and see if those folders have their own weapons textures. If they do they will have the same names and these will override the global weapons textures. You can try removing or renaming just those weapons textures that are in the repaint folders so that the global weapons textures will apply. If you don't like that result you can always go back to the textures you removed/renamed.
