VS Panther - trouble with switches

FIRST OF ALL - I do NOT wish this to become a "I'm unhappy the patch didn't come out yet" thread. It's a troubleshooting issue only - trolls and troublemakers can take their drivel elsewhere.

My question is on startup. Following the manual, I find the starter ticks and the spins for a few seconds - but doesn't ignite. I have fuel in the tanks, and my fuel master, master battery, and engine cranking are all on.

So, I did the auto-start (CTRL+E) and followed the sequence it did. I found it wanted the fuel master and cranking swith to "off". Sure enough, when I did that, I could start it myself. So the question I have to ask is - are the fuel and cranking switches (#s 8 and 9) reversed in the model by accident?

It's the same situation for both the 5 and the 5P.

thoughts?

thanks,

dl
