• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I talked to Deano of VS. and they are still alive.
They are in the middle of a major revamp of their entire system and company.
The work on the planes have continued even during their time down, and when they reopen they will have some new aircraft available.
I do not know what planes will be available. as Deano did not say.

Not to be pessimistic, buts that's exactly the same thing he said to me about 6mths ago during an email discussion

While it's good to hear that Deano is still going to make a comeback, this was something that had been posted several months back as it was discovered that they had closed shop and were taking a long hiatus, possibly as long as a year to reorganize, step away from the business of developing for awhile and take stock of where they are and what they really want to do from this point on. The original thread contained posts from folks who seemed to know some additional info, information that didn't sound encouraging that they would return at all. So I hope for the sake of this hobby they do return once they shake out the cobwebs, the bad vibes and maybe move whatever deadwood there is left from past projects and hit the ground running someday.

Time will tell!

Thats true. Falcon.
Only time will tell, I am keeping positive for now that we see them reopen, and like you said, hit the ground running with some new aircraft.
