VSTOL Update for the Wilco HJJ Harrier ? !

Hello Storm,

Can you tell me which gauge(s) to comment out (I suppose I have to do that in the panel.cfg)? I see a number of gauges that might have something to do with the VSTOL function. I don't mind losing some instruments, but I would hate to lose the propeller pitch control for the nozzles.
Which version of Rob's gauges did you use? The one from the JF Harrier? In the SSW Harrier there are several gauges pertaining to the VSTOL function.

Thanks in advance. I really hope I can finally fly the RAZBAM Harrier in a satisfactory way.,

Thanks for the confirmation.
I'm sure there is interest, but I'm also also sure you had good reason, so that's fine.
Thanks for the other gauges you've released in the past.

Not sure where I left off, I'll have to check next week ....
If in a finished state , I will probably upload the update package ...

Rob

Hi,

I made the update package (small zip file, about 300 Kbyte) and am looking for a betatester to do a "sanity check" of the package before uploading it publically.
If you're interrested, send me a PM with your Email address and I'll Email it.

NOTE: this is ONLY an update for the Wilco HJJ Harrier ...
So you need to have that installed.

Rob

Thanks Rob, I will have to re-install .. looking forward to the update .. personal I thought it did everything required .. Ideal scenery tester.

Rob, thanks for your efforts to improve Harrier STOL/VTOL ops in FSX, I would be happy if you would upload your new files! I always liked your Wilco and SSW Harrier VTOL gauges very much.

cheers, Henk.
Update package sent via Email, as requested.
Thanks in advance for testing it before public release.

Cheers, Rob

Package released ...

Hi,

For those of you interrested: I just uploaded this update addon to the SOH library, as file rcbwh20-7.zip in the FSX-Other section ...

Cheers, Rob

Wow, I can actually hover now. The Wilco HJJ has been in the archive hanger for a long time.

Well, if you couldn't hover before the update, you must have done something wrong there (too heavy ??? )......

Anyway, glad to see this update is appreciated by everyone, as far as I know.
Although no concrete plans at present, no doubt there will be further tweaks in the future ...

Cheers, Rob

Thank you Rob, not just for this, but for all the other VTOL, space gauges, car dynamics and other ingenious and interesting addons you've done over the years. They are all much appreciated. :applause:

You're welcome ....:ernaehrung004:
And I'm not done yet exploring "niches" in FSX ....LoL

Rob

I've got to agree with DaveWG on this one, Rob - the work you do to make things work in FSX that really shouldn't is very much appreciated.

I haven't downloaded this one yet - I have far too many aircraft even without the Wilco Harriers installed, but it almost certainly means they will be at some point. :very_drunk::ernaehrung004:
