Waco Classics

Oh yea, Sanderson's Stearman was/is very nice indeed. I had it ported, but finally removed it, as there were too many texture 'holes' after SP2. Wonderful detail.

Interesting about the F models. I have been thinking about adding those to the collection.

I do agree with you though, we do need some 'hot shot' re-painters to take a stab at the Golden Age products. I have tweaked most of mine, and 'toned them down' a bit, but have yet to attempt a full repaint.

There is an update for the Sanderson Stearman, but I don't know if addresses the issues you mention. I know that I see odd semi-transparent guages, but I'm mostly interested in the idea of using it for movies than really flying it around.

Wonderful, Mark, looks very impressive full screen at 720 on my brand new 30" monitor ! :)

If you don't mind me saying so, a bit of a pauze every now and then at the right moment in between your narration would do your excellent video presentation good. So much info to digest, you'd nearly miss how wonderful these aeroplanes look... :)

Your camera work is excellent, really showing how Bruce Artwick's ugly duckling, which i loved tremendously, has turned into a beautiful swan !

Btw, Mr. Cruise's two wheeled Gambon corner was quite spectacular, wasn't it !

Cheers,
Jan

...a bit of a pauze every now and then...

Heh heh, I have been accused on 'not breathing enough', so point taken :)

Btw, Mr. Cruise's two wheeled Gambon corner was quite spectacular, wasn't it !

Yes, it was good entertainment but they didn't even mention 'Days of Thunder', which I happened to quite like. And then to learn Cruise has a P-51...! Life's just not fair :(

These are great little videos. Interesting, informative and commercial vendors could take a lesson out of his book here in the presentation of their wares. It inspired me to dust off my Wacos (sounds rude).
