I uploaded my new Waco SRE to flightsim and simviation earlier today; should be there tomorrow. IMHO the SRE and the Beech Staggerwing were the best looking GA biplanes ever produced.

Paul

Thanks Paul, another fine job you have done for the flight community, thanks for all the hard work you do for our enjoyment.:applause::wavey:

Thats a real beauty there Paul!

Well done sir. A true classic.

I dont believe I have ever seen that actual plane in the real. A bit similar to a Staggerwing Beach in a couple of ways.

Actually, four ways, Bill. Time period, Radial engine, two wings, enclosed cabin. Anything else?

Thanks for the Waco, Paul. I love 'em.

I hope to have an SRE R/C version, soon.

Paul's download comment says: "It was luxurious for its time and was known as the Aristocrat."
On K.O. Eckland's AEROFILES (www.aerofiles.com), under Waco Aristocrat I found these pictures.
Who is right?

Ezio

(BTW, this would make a great model too...)

According to my references, they are both right.

One is the Aristokrat, the other one the AristocraFt <!-- / message -->

Mike is definitely right. :applause:

The one I posted pictures of, was the Aristocraft, while Put's model is the Aristocrat, as he properly explained.

Sorry for my mistake.

Ezio :amen:

Less a mistake - rather a way to introduce a very interesting and almost unknown plane to us :ernae:
