I don't know why this plane is always passed up. Before WWII it was a leading short haul aircraft. It became famous during the filming of Casablanca when Ingrid Bergman flew away from Humphey Bogart. Amelia Earhart strapped one on during her unfortunate flight. The one I remember the best was the Provincetown - Boston airline that flew out of Logan Airport in Boston in the 1950s.
It served durig the war in many markings and civilian ones are found iin many countries. There's one at Skyhaven, Rochester, NH airport that Dick Jackson has in Canadian Air Force markings. I sure wish some one of you talented guys would consider it. Especially since the Earhart movie is now out.
Any takers?
