Warbirds Over Addison Airshow - May 15th & 16th

A visit to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum is a gem of a tour during normal operations, whether from DFW area or worldwide.
I'd imagine the airshow turns it up to 11 + ...
A friend and his son and I saw Chad Hennings arriving as we were leaving the Cavanaugh years ago. Glad to see he's still invested in the endeavor.

11:00 a.m. TBM Avenger and FM-2 Wildcat
12:00 p.m. P-51 Mustang
1:00 p.m. P-40 Warhawk
2:00 p.m. Lone Star F4U-5
3:00 p.m. CAF A-26 Invader
4:00 p.m. Lone Star P-47 Thunderbolt
 
Just got back from the airshow. Had a great time despite the overcast weather. Attached is a sampling of what they had going out there. Didn't take many flyby photos. My vintage digital camera zoom is a bit weak.

It was the first airshow for my 4yr old son. He was taking it all in. :)
