Looking jolly good! It will fit nicely with my White 10 of 9./JG5. Some interesting facts I have found out is that the often called "JG5" patch was in fact only used by III. Gruppe on fighters from the staffeln at Herdla and Gossen. So it might be that the badge actually was a Gruppe badge. It looks also like this badge was only painted on the left side and not on both as often seen on drawn profiles.

Any chance to get the drop tank texture..? :)

Focke-Wulf FW-190A-8 WNr 732197, White 10, of Feldwebel Rudolf Artner 9./JG5, Herdla Norway April 1945. Artner ended the war alive with 20 kills, including 2 Finnish Ju-88. He also shot down two RAF Beaufighters on the Feb. 9th 1945 when the RAF Coastal Command tried to attack the Destroyer Z33 in Førdefjord (my previous Dallachy Beaufighter repaints covered the attacking force).

Thank you Huub for letting me use your weathering and dirt layers! I'm quite happy with how it turned out as a novice Luftwaffe painter, but I must say it was a very difficult paint. Most about these Luftwaffe schemes are up for individual interpretation, even if White 10 is actually well documented on b/w pictures from the war.

You should have received an e-mail by now..... I make things to share and enjoy, so you're free to include it when you want.

Your repaint has come together VERY nicely! I found the pictures from the crashed blue 9 and had already noticed the crest was only applied on one side. So this is one of the small changes I still have to make.

By the way, is that light grey part at the backside of the right wing intended?

Cheers,
Huub

Thank you!

Another observation I made just before I took the screens is that the Eismeer badge should have a reflection of the sun in the water bellow the horizon line. I must say that the Classic Hangar FW-190A hold up great, even against todays standards. Great model in all aspects and I really like the flight model.

As information for the rest here; 9th Staffel used white as their colour and the 12th Staffel used Blue. Both were based at Fliegerhorst Herdla (western coast of Norway). They flew mostly the A-8 during the winter of 1944-45, but also had a few earlier A-3. White 9 as included in the CH FW190 Late package is actually an A-3 model and not an A-8.

Looking very very good! Nice to see the puma badge on the Bf. I hope you wil release it! Keep up the great work! Im thinking about painting up the Fw 190a as a Hungarian F as well.

Some nice shots as usual, and some lovely repaints!

Here's a few from a sortie in the RA Spit IX.

Cheers

And some fun with an old friend! Thanks to John for that paint, too! I have seen Michael this year with his DVII and it was amazing!
