Zirkus Rosarius

P-51B-15-NA Mustang, 43-24825, nicknamed "Jerry" and assigned to Lt. Thomas E. Fraser of the 4th FG, 334th FS. It was lost in Cambrai, France, on June 6, 1944 and was tested by the Germans at Rechlin, before being transferred to the famous Zirkus Rosarius for training. It was lost on December 10, 1944.

Nothing flashy this time..
I discovered thta the 370th FG changed from P-38's to P-51's in february/march 1945, and one of them was this nameless 43-12457, which previously flew with the 353rd FG. I have no idea who flew this aircraft, so see it as an hommage to all those not-well known pilots who still put their life on the line on a daily basis.

I'll try and upload mine over the next few days..

Stephan, why are the stripes on the wings so far outboard?
I've seen this position on MTO aircraft, but not on ETO planes?
It's a mistake due to haste on my first version and a lack of attention on the adaptation for FSX.
Thank you for pointing that...;)
Users can use the wings from your "5Q" or "6N" series.

Stephan

I just wanted to stick my head in and say your continuing efforts are appreciated guys, I just wish I had time to install them all and fly the blasted things!

Keep up the great work. :applause::applause::applause:

Bruce, that is gorgeous, and very sharp! There will be, hopefully one day, a specific model made for such a scheme to better fit it - it has long been in the plans, but other things have trumped it. Besides even the famous Mantz P-51C's, there were a dozen or more, very interesting B/C model racers that came out of the late 40's as well. If you can, try getting the intakes, coolant doors, and pitot mast red as well, in order to complete the look. Really looking forward to it!

Finally bought the P-51, mainly due to the amount of quality repaints I've seen on here. It looks great, flies great, and it looks as if I've got plenty of great repaints to download, too!

Here's another one from me, still wip, it needs a bit more tender loving....neglect really..
