For those who may be interested in the above repaints, I'm sorry for the prolonged wait, but they will be, finally, uploaded tonight. The last repaint of the set was just recently finished, which depicts "Twilight Tear" in its factory delivery scheme, taking it back to the very beginning. This repaint also includes factory fresh internal textures, for the full effect.

JOHN!!!! Darn it!!!!! You did it again......once again you force me to buy these mustangs. PLEASE....PLEASE....PLEASE.......keep up the awesome efforts!!! The more mustangs the better. Accuracy is top notch and if this is all I buy.....I am completely happy! Just wish I was abgle to fly on line with others......maybe someday. Has Warbirdsim ever considered setting up a server for buyers of the Mustang...to just fly mustangs on?

Some pictures I took of Twilight Tear over the weekend

Some pictures I took of Twilight Tear over the weekend and one virtual one from this morning.

Thank you Randy, those are some excellent photos! The aircraft is just gorgeous! I badly wanted to get out there for the show this past Saturday, but things just didn't work out. A couple friends of mine were out there though, as part of the USAAF reenactors, and they had an amazing time from what I hear. With the new museum now open, I'm going to try to get out there still sometime this summer. From the photos I saw, the museum structures are absolutely beautiful!

This was the UK 'non' Twilight Tear in 2007. Now in the States does anybody know the story of this aircraft? I'm led to believe it wasn't TT at all. Is that right? BTW I've always taken this photo as a guide to how a Mustang would have looked in 1945, in particular the exhaust stains and heat tarnish.

John, great repaint! Makes me wish I owned this one!! Any chance of a factory fresh for Cripes A'Mighty? (Although now thinking about it, factory fresh wouldn't have the field Mod spitfire mirrors!...) Well, it was an idea anyway :) Good to see you back in action.
