Do you have it installed Bjoern? If so could you past some screenshots? After reading the description I hesitate a bit to install it.

Cool! Ive always thought that the Aces folks neglected DC. This looks 1000% better than default! My bride and I spent two weeks (our Honeymoon) in DC just seeing all the Smithsonians and other sites..and ...well, you know...:icon_lol:

As a bit of a "West Wing" tragic that would love to see the place in real life one day, who was also disapointed with the standard FSX version, and looking at the beautiful screenshots I'm going to give this a look for sure! Many thanks! :salute:
 
Very nice. Terrain textures are high def, as much as 1ft/pixel probably. About a 6 percent frame rate hit.
 
I'm pretty sure I saw night textures from a distance but no seasonal. I was flying in Winter and it all green.

Well, having night textures is something. Hope he'll get round to seasonal at some point - there's a lot of open space around DC that varies a lot with the seasons. But it still looks like a huge improvement over default. I've downloaded and I'll give it a try.
 
Yes, this is a cracking piece of Freeware to place that was sorely overlooked in FSX!

Did you have a problem installing?

i read that the installer sends the scenery to c/ms/fsx(86).

did you have to modify the location via 'browse'?
