Hi All,
I have attached a screen shot of the waterfront at 3 Mile Kila near Port Moresby. As you can see the water is anything but flat. This install was set up as per the instructions in Rami's PTO installation guide. I have tried changing the location of the watermask files several times but each trial gives some "wavy water" issue/s. The shot here uses the watermasks as a seperate scenery library folder added just above Terrain.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Checking out the coastal issue I was also struck by the lack of beaches around New Guinea. Is this to be expected? Is it a consequence of the improved mesh?
Cheers,
Michael

. Of course keeping the problems to a minimum helps to ward off being totally swamped, so I never do anything that can't be undone. I will remove the watermasks and have a look. Still, it would be good to have sandy beaches around some NG coastlines. Ela beach was a much used surfing beach in Port Moresby and was popular with all the service personnel stationed in Moresby. Redrawing the New Guinea coastline?..........we seem to need a Pacific sands Sanders.

Are you using the stock watermasks?
