Way to go Westjet!

From WestJet's blog:

"Watch the WestJet Christmas Miracle video and help us bring a family together for the holidays. If our Christmas Miracle video on YouTube reaches 200,000 views, WestJet will donate flights to a family in need, so they can be together for the holidays."

If you have a Twitter account and are a resident of Canada you can also take part in the WestJet Christmas Miracle Twitter contest

Hey All,

I love Westjet.

I always try to travel Westjet if feasible.

One of their head guys who started the company is one heck of a bluegrass banjo player.

One time I was on an Air Canada flight and the stewardess told a joke - I asked if she knew who she was working for?

Now that's just cool beyond words!

Well done! I think these folks at Westjet have a few things they could teach the US-based carriers!

Considering that this bit of public relations has resulted in numerous mentions throughout the last few days on every major (and many minor) networks, the costs of the event have doubtless been recouped many times over by now... :victorious:

They've done a new video for Xmas

Some have argued cynical self promotion. I disagree, It is there for the world to see and WJ don't go there.

Enjoy

Some may be cynical, but I'm not a bit ashamed to admit that this brought tear to my eyes. Watching the expressions of joy on those too often sad faces was very moving. :encouragement:
