Weird control issue

Mathias

SOH-CM-2024
For some reason my Shift+E+number got messed.
Whenever I hit that it only opens the main door (for the programmers: the door0)
Cargo doors and the like don't open anymore.
This happens with every plane that I know of makes use of multiple doors.
Checked the aircraft.cfg's exits section, nothing wrong there.
Checked the keyboard chart, seems to look ok.
Deleted the standard.xml so that it gets rebuild, no luck.
Suggestions anyone?

Need a few more clues mate. Are we talking about a new development model or what?

I do know that there are issues with some FSX programming codes like attachment points and so on, interfering with animations.

Are you sure you're doing the key combo correctly ?
You wrote SHIFT+E+number... you shouldn't hit the number at the same time, but AFTER you have hit and released SHIFT+E.

All aircraft do that, baz, inclusive the stock C208.

Sure Daube, doing the "Shift+E" followed by number 1, 2, 3, or 4.

From what I've heard, problems of that sort are usually the result of an overactive gauge - the gauge refreshes between when you press Shift+E and the number, and FS only sees the Shift+E.

However, that shouldn't affect all aircraft...

Hi Mate
You have something firing all the time interrupting multi keystrokes.
Could be a stuck key, a faulty joystick button or more often as said above its a faulty gauge.
I use Doug Dawson's event logger gauge to track these types of issues down
http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=59941
just follow the readme and yes it works in fsx ;)
if no luck try removing the fsx.cfg and the Standard.XML(in the cotrols folder of the same folder fsx.cfg is in) to a safe location and restart fsx see if it rewrites the
Standard.XML
