People like what they like. I had a friend in college who liked muscular women and was always trying to get his girlfriend to lift weights. Her, I liked very much; you could treat her with decency all the time, and she wouldn't kick you in the groin for it. What I'm very tired of are the slew of starving Hollywood actresses and their publicists' insisting this is supposed to be attractive. Now, there are valid medical reasons having nothing to do with aesthetics not to be overweight, but I like my jello to have some jiggle. On the other hand, back when I was living in Rochester, my roommate took me one Saturday morning to see the young devotchkas playing beach volleyball. These were serious athletes and I REALLY liked watching them move.
