Weybourne Camp & RAF Weybourne - WW2 AAA training camp

RAF Weybourne ; another of my ez scenery & AFCad creations for FS2004

RAF Weybourne on the north Norfolk coast was a Second World War anti-aircraft training establishment, jointly used by both RAF and Army (Royal Artillery);
'X' Flt, of No 1 Anti-Aircraft Co-operation Unit were based at the station between 16 May and 14 September 1939, followed by 'T' Flt, No 1 Anti-Aircraft Co-operation Unit there between 25 February and 29 April 1942.
and No 6 Anti-Aircraft Co-operation Unit were...

Weybourne AAA training camp / RAF Weybourne in north Norfolk, I've had this in the works for some time now, has a few terrain errors I don't seem able to resolve with what I have, so it's time to let it fly, thanks to Shessi for the DH Queen Bee on the catapult.

BIG OOPS, seems there was a glitch in the matrix and its been dropped into FS2024 library section. ( I double checked I selected 2004 before uploading)
can someone fix that please.

Thanks, phew - it was not me then, I thought that it was my finger problems, when my Mike Stone Collection also ended up in the FS2024 library section. I caught it later, & put it into the right FS2004 folder.

Pete, there are some weird folders in the Texture folder:
AH_Tiger Moth_camo
JF_Tiger_MothFloat_Mil
Queen Bee launcher
Textures_SAMM:All This one is empty
Westland Lysander TT3
Weybourne:All
bunker.bmp

I'm a bit confused as to what goes where.
I just dropped the Weybourne folder into my Addon Scenery, added it into the sim & rebooted.
When I select it in the library, I get the following error...

Any idea?

the empty samm one can be deleted, leave the others in those folders they're used by the static plane models (its a copy of the one in my static aircraft maker folder)

SAMM puts the plane model bgl into the scenery's scenery sub-folder and the texture folder into the texture sub-folder. That works almost all the time. But sometimes, rarely, for reasons I can't comprehend or even make a wild-assed guess about, the static model bgl doesn't find the texture folder and you get that error message. The fix is simple: just put a copy of that unseen texture folder into the main FS9 texture folder. Then the static plane will find it. When FS9 doesn't see the texture folder in the scenery's texture folder (even though it's right there in plain sight) it then looks for it in the main texture folder and will find it there. I've never had that fix not work.

Unseen texture folder? The Textures_SAMM;All that is empty, I've deleted.
All the aircraft folders are still in the texture folder.
That leaves the bunker.bmp in the texture folder.
So the Weybourne; All folder to FS9's Texture folder?

I'll give that a try now..

All these years ive been trying to figure that warning out, and you've given me the answer, thanks Mick :ernaehrung004:

I deleted Weybourne from the library.
I put Weybourne:All & Textures_SAMM;All both into FS9's Texture folder, as well as in the Weybourne folder.
Restarted the sim & added Weybourne into the library. No errors, but also no textures on the tents nor the revetment square thingie. Nothing inside that either. - as the Weybourne 4.jpg shows a building of sorts inside.
The planes are all there, but the tent seems to be floating. I'm using default mesh - Silver Wings added as well as the Platinum Wings mod.

Another bit of SAMM strangeness, though not likely the fault of SAMM. If you make a static model of some planes - so far, I've only seen it with Bill Lyons' planes - the static model shows up as it should, but when the flyable plane gets close to it, the flyable plane disappears! The only alternative if you really want that Lyons plane on your ramp is to make an AI plane of it and put it there as "static AI" - an AI plane with a flight plane that only takes off and makes a quick circuit once a week in the middle of the night when you won't be at your computer. Even more strangely, while static models of Bill's planes will disappear your flyable plane, the same model sitting as an AI plane in the same place on the same ramp won't affect your flyable plane.
