What a way to go...Former ELO Cellist

As someone who uses those big round bales of hay, you sure don't leave them where they can roll down hill. While quite heavy, they can be rolled a lot easier than you'd think.

That is sad news indeed, I was very fortunate to see ELO on their "Out of the Blue" tour 2 concerts, and they had an amazing show. That was the tour where they used the Space Ship Stage and were lowered to the stage on the opening, the laser lights in the Boston Gardens were totally mind blowing and the show went almost 3 hours. They had a full orchestra on stage for a couple of the tunes and Mike Edwards was front and center he was an amazing player. I was extra lucky at the second show when I ended up in the same hotel as the band and actually got chance to chat with Jeff Lynne in the elevator, nothing significant but it was pretty exciting for me at the time.

I really miss music and ELO was one of my all time Fav bands I can still hear Mr. Blue Sky in my head just as clear as a bell...

Yep, definitely a weird way to go. I once saw the aftermath of a Camaro that went off the road and slammed into a couple of those huge bales of hay. That car looked like it had hit a brick wall..the bales had been sitting there for a few years and had really gotten hard.
