They were here yesterday and are again today and overnight . I had to do a double take when they took off together yesterday.

Simply glorious.

I don't mind admitting that when I watched the clip with volume up high...I had a big smile and tears started to form :adoration: Thanks for posting!

With about 50 such appearances on the schedule for the next several weeks (some now completed over the past two days), you can bet there will be hundreds more videos and thousands more photos by the time the 'Bomber Tour' is completed.

The tickets are already long sold out for an event taking place on September 2nd and then again on the 7th, when both Lancasters will be overflying East Kirkby, where the taxiable Lancaster "Just Jane" (currently in the process of being brought up to airworthy) is based, and she will be ground-running and taxiing around as the two other Lancasters fly overhead (unfortunately the runway at East Kirkby is too short for the Lancasters to land).

Wonderful to see those historic birds in the air. Gave me chills when the 4 ship passed by!
Thanks for posting.

I had a similar feeling this year at Duxford watching the 4 Spitfire Is flying together. An amazing site to see the only two airworthy Lancasters together.

Kinda wish they didn't formate quite so closely....

I still remember the XB 70 mid-air.

it is kinda fun to play "spot the difference" between the 2 different MKs of lanc in the air to air vid :)
