'What if' paint scheme...PSA and the MD-11

pilottj

Blues is Life
Hey folks, I had my PSA fuselage masters from the NGX, I thought would see
how they would look on the MD-11. After a little modification, here is the
result.

PSA never had an MD-11 but they did have an L-1011 at one point. Perhaps if PSA had
expanded they might have aquired MD-11s. Perhaps on high density west coast to
hawaii/latin america routes.

Cheers

The Hawaii market was pretty saturated already back in the days, so I don't think PSA would have stood much of a chance.
Getting the L-1011s already was a very bold move, albeit the idea of increasing capacity without increasing frequency by using more aircraft is fairly logical in high-demand markets like SFO-LAX.

Anyway, nice paint! Really works for the MD-11.
