• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

(Don't get me wrong, I like jugs too - with and without a capital 'j'. I recently downloaded a documentary (on the ones with the capital 'J') while doing research voor the -N type that had nice footage of WWII action. Maybe I'll upload it to the FTP.)

There's something missing from the screenie, or did he take cold feet over the pics? I first heard about this bird - SORRY, AIRCRAFT! - a couple of years ago, so it's good to see some daylight on the model. :jump: The stock models need some updates anyway, vintage 2002 stock models are really clunky!

This will be the one I work on. I know the stock one is old and wanting, but I have too much to work on and this will be a side project for a while, so only the N, did you know that as big as she was her roll rate was 94 (D - 76) degrees a second, the Fw 190, the fighter with one of the highest roll rates was about 106. So the N was no easy target.
 
Any hope this P-47N will be available soon?

I'd be perfectly satisfied and happy if you rushed it with the stock cockpit, skin, flight model, everything working with it. I really just need the M3D files.

I'll gladly do my own flight model and skin, I just can't do anything M3D related. :confused:
