I have just had the strangest thing happen at FS Shipyards(.org not .com...which I didn't figure out till later). I’d finished Mayport and I was looking at giving it to FS Shipyards as well as the folks that normally get my stuff for download and entered their screenshot contest on a lark…with a Mayport picture. It seems I was too early and the admin removed my picture but left the post. I replied that that was fine, and that I would just not enter. (Having to remember dates and days anymore is just tenuous at best
)
Well, I went back to see the other entrants and there were none, and both my posts had been deleted. No notice, no nothing. Now I'm a huge believer in transparency when it comes to forum posts. I have had to wait and hope that no one replied to some of my less-than-intelligent posts and considered it an object lesson to not repeat the mistake. Censorship just doesn't float my boat in any way shape or form. They were both innocent posts and really had no reason for removal.
In fairness, I PM'd the .org Admin and asked about the deletion and was told that the post was before the contest start time, to which I replied "I'd believe that , but why was the second post deleted? Please withdraw my membership." Again, in fairness, that PM was answered with
I didn't have a dog in the FSSY dot com vs FSSY dot org free for all. As I said before, I didn't realize there was one, but I sure as heck do now. I side with the folks with integrity.
Does this kind of stuff bother anyone else?

...which I would believe if it hadn't made the site look bad...trashing its only entrant....no matter how early...It was only removed because it had nothing to do the the Competition and no other reason.
