This isn't rare plane at all, but I haven't found any FSX native Messerschmitt Bf109 D-model yet. Is anyone making a payware or freeware?

Aircraft Factory , a hanger glued to A2A , has Gregs F4U and two other models

Ditto on a new F4U Corsair in all the glory of todays modelling capabilities. Maybe in packages, like early variants, late war variants, and post war models.
I have the AF Corsair, it's nice and Jan did some awesome repaints for it, and with Fligers FDE it flys well. But I'd also like to have a mean birdcage model, etc.

Cheers,
Mark

Rare indeed...

My vote is for:

1. Hawker Henley - Britain's equivalent of the Stuka.

2. Hawksley (Armstrong Whitworth) Albermarle I - bomber/glider tug/special transport.

Both WWII era.

Now you're talkin my language. :salute:

Well, how can it be that an F-82 hasn't been made for FSX? Bomber could have made one of these in his sleep!!! (I of course mean this as a compliment to him)

Westland Whirlwind: the cannon-armed fighter, not the whirlygig. I know there's an FS9 model, but a rebuild would be good.

Some exciting suggestions above. Especially the Whirlwind.

If I had the time and willpower to try Gmax, I would try my hand at a Heinkel 112B (WW2 fighter). Lovely plane.

Convair's XF-94A "Pogo". I believe XF-94 is the correct designation. That one would be a real challenge to even the most seasoned FS Developer.

Even though they're post-WW2 their development certainly began in the war years but prior to the Korean conflict, and they're rare as the designs never went beyond the testing phase. I've also seen them in FS9, but native versions would be nice for FSX...

1) The very beautiful Republic XF-12 Rainbow...

2) The magnificent Northrop YB-49 Flying Wing (been a fan ever since the first time I saw "War of The Worlds")...

3) The Douglas XB-43 Jetmaster...
