P2 settings
There are many settings, and we see that it varies according to the skill of the player? My settings include altimeter and speed, on the screen, down low. As the computer can't simulate that, and a fan would destroy my office, that's my fix. As the "computer AI" see you, and from a good distance, I do have the TAC DISPLAY" on 1NM, and only just 1/2 of it showing from the bottom of the screen, so I still have to check my six. What it does allow you though is a little better recognition, as in reality, the eye's of a 20 y/o would be quite good seeing what's in front of you.
Bletchley had a great report based on substantial fact finding, on what are suitable and realistic settings for WWI OFF. Set your FLAK at "Easy" and "Light". There were some changes late in 1918, where the Flak and groung fire got a bit more accurate. If you like, I could email you the settings per specific dates on the Front. I lose about 1 pilot per 80 missions which I beleve is probable close to realistic. WWII was a killer for pilots through ground fire and flak.
Good luck!
