I don't know a lot about web design, but I've figured out that many pages (including this forum) use something called a "style sheet" to determine the "look" of things. Once in a while when my ISP is running slow, I'll download a page that gets the base html but not the style sheet. When that happens, it's much like clicking the "Printable" or "Lite" links on many boards. All you get is the text and forground images. There's no fancy formatting or background images. If you refresh the page, you stand a good chance of getting the style sheet on the next load, then things will look normal.
