So, yeah.....what's up here with Aerofly FS4 then ??...

@ MDlvey, where are all your screenshots ?...

@ Wing_Z, did you give up on it ?.....

I just bought Aerofly FS4, i have spend 30 euro's on much worse things ! I don't know much about it yet ( f.i. i can't seem to just choose an aircraft i'd like to fly..... is that not possible ??....That would be ridiculous for a 'hop in and fly' sim like this, wouldn't it ?...) I think i might have already seen something important i might think i might like better than what i see in MSFS2024 : Clouds... (notice the triple 'might'.. ;-) . About 40 years now i'm hoping to see patches of clouds whizzing by as i fly thru them or pass them by very close (you know, like you can see from your RW airliner pax seat as you pass thru various cloud layers during descent) in any PC flightsimulator without any result what soever.... Even in MSFS2024, the super superior flightsimming extravaganza we never even dared dreaming of it is still the same as it ever was, transparent greyish bitmaps trudging by like Grandma's Molasses dripping out of its bottle. One time i thought look at that, finally then ! It happend to be the ingloriously lost MSFlight that finally something that deffinately looked like whizzing by patches of clouds could be seen. Wow!! (i might've been the only one that noticed it......;-)

Anyway, not as good as it was in MSFlight but certainly something similar can now be experienced in AeroflyFS4 (definately still NOT in MSFS ! #$%$#!!). Great to see that the AeroflyFS4 devs have put 'more or less realistic flying thru the clouds experience' on the map ! (i do think that 'close by' is still not fast enough).

I do like the overall look of the cloudscapes very much too (IMHO MSFS sometimes too 'cartooney' ..) Fantastic FLY-BY view mode ! ( put that in your pipe and smoke it MSFS ! ) Cityscapes compared to MSFS..... well, we can't have it all, can we...

I did not do a serious flight yet but what i feel about Aerofly FS4 after a couple of hours fooling around with it that it is quite a lovely flightsimming 'Toy' ! :encouragement:

Hope to read more about here ......? ;-)
