I found a nice pic of a Marines Bronco, but with a white wing:

undoubtedly someone here can tell me why this aircraft had a white wing?

to be honest, I don't even know if the underside of the wings is supposed to be white as well...

yes the undersides of the wings are to be all white. I have been trying my best to do one or two of these variants but I can't get the area around the canopy correct with the white paint....it doesn't go as far forward as you have or even I have it on my attempts....very frustrating to say the least........the paint kit is good but set up in a very odd way.

Jan, the white wing was for recognition purposes only (as a visual aid for the fast jet movers.....being called by the Bronco crew).

Not only the top side, also the underside were painted white (or very light grey..)
Most USMC Bronco's used that scheme, mainly for use in Vietnam.

Cheers,
Hank
