who can guess?

Hi Guys,

I'm guessing a Pathfinder B-24J from the 450th Bomb Group's 722nd Squadron, 15th Airforce.

equiped with a radar dome in place of the ball turret.

regards Rob.

Thanks .....

Hey Capt.

Sir, could you enlighten us, poor mortals, about this B-24 pathfinder...?:jump:
Funny thing, I'd bet that the Hobbit was right in his guess...:icon_lol:

Pathfinders

Due to the heavy overcast conditions in the Ruhr and other parts of Europe the Americans often used radar equipped planes to target just as the British did at night.
