Who has the Captain Sim 732?

This is in which package?

Only for the 737-100, Air Alaska by Bernhard [SIZE=-1]Lechner ([/SIZE]cs_737-100_air_alaska.zip at flightsim)

For the 737-200 you have [FONT=verdana, sans-serif][FONT=verdana, sans-serif]Alaska Airlines[/FONT][/FONT] by Alex Faber ([FONT=verdana, sans-serif]cs732alaskan740as.zip at avsim)[/FONT]

Still trying to build a 2D panel... sounds ridiculous, isn't it? The CaptainSim gauges are not intended for a 2D panel, only for the VC. So I had to use TinMouse gauges and some default one... rather pointless...

Another doomed experiment... Not fair to CaptainSim to publish this, not to mention copyright issues with the TinMouse team... But there is a lot of similarities!

Looking good.

Anyone tried both the CS and JF yet ?
I've got the demo of the JF 737 and Its stunning and I'm very tempted but is the CS one worth holding out for (I wont buy it until its finished btw).

I had the CS exterior-->then I bought JF and used the VC for the CS and finally I bought the CS upgrade -200 VC)

Why?
Hard to wait :mixedsmi:

JF has a 2D panel which I use for my Tinmouse,Cantu and even Yeodesign(because of the available repaints) in FSX

But-->JF gauge resolution is far less then CS and the VC is a MAJOR framerate hit(35-->17)

So if the 2D issue wouldnd be-->CS almost all the way

Thanks a lot

PS:I tried a 2D with CS gauges and the JF bitmap-->almost impossible as even if you get it the CS run only with the CS sys gauge.So I am back to JF 2 D with some tinmouse gauges

A decent alternative to an CS 737-200 improbable 2D panel: an additionnal camera definition to simulate a fixed 2D panel. Works for any monitor's ratio. In the aircraft.cfg file locate the section [CameraDefinition.001] and add this on top of it. You'll have to rename the other camera definitions below accordingly (002 to 004).

Code:
[CameraDefinition.001]
Title = "Captain"
Guid = {8FCB0D6A-210A-40F3-BE67-677BD6591780}
Origin = Virtual Cockpit
MomentumEffect = no
SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel
SnapPbhReturn = False
PanPbhAdjust = Swivel
PanPbhReturn = False
Track = None
ShowAxis = YES
AllowZoom = TRUE
InitialZoom = 0.80
SmoothZoomTime = 2.0
ZoomPanScalar = 1.0
ShowWeather = Yes
XyzAdjust = TRUE
ShowLensFlare=FALSE
Category = Cockpit
PitchPanRate=20
HeadingPanRate=60
InitialXyz=0.20, -0.05, -0.10 // left/right - up/down - front/back
InitialPbh=9.00,  0.00,  0.00 // angle - torsion - rotation

You may adjust slightly the InitialZoom, InitialXyz and Pbh values to your liking.

Thanks

Due to the FPS issue with JF I moved back to Tinmouse on the elder 2D 737-200's

Got her vonstroheim. She is a nice critter compared to the Just Flight BB 737. Feels good although to have a similar and familiar VC to move around in:icon29: Hope a First Air paint or Air Inuit surfaces.

Official message from CS:

"The next update (SP 0.6) of the 737-200 has been released. 54 items done list attached. As the next version is going to be the 1.0, so the 0.6 is the last chance to get the 737-200 with 10 Euro discount."

This 737 really deserves the attention of all fans of steam gauges and retro/classic look.

Ah a nice tiddy over till the milviz one comes out to play. Being this is Stage2 from CS, constructively she is better in all ways over the Blackbox 737 I got when that released. I am sure Blackbox is watching and hope for improvement. Now I like this CS product very much and it's VC is nice and the AP is a bit Squirrelly as I expect it to be:icon_lol:. Yes in the RW of Arctic Canada, the AP does get nuts and stupid, thus you manhandle this beast and teach her you da boss.

Air California 737-193 (fits the 737-200) by David Sweetman, in the Captain Sim free liveries section... Here in FTX PNW Orcas.

More VC screenshots... The Milviz 737 is serious competition...

But does the Milviz have such sexy curves?

The test version 0.7 is announced... More chances to give your feedback to the CaptainSim designers almost in realtime via their forum, get the discount now, and a free upgrade to a bug-free version 1.0 later...

:blind:Eh that's not fare flying, that paint has a Playbunny and the Canadian North doesn't:icon_lol::icon_lol:. That's time to hire a painter for Air Inuit new look.
