WHO makes the best Phantom for CFS2

I love the f-4, I am having a hard time finding one that is good as the ones in FS2004. OH, and another must is it has to have a gun. What good is a plane or an FS if there are no guns!

Alphasim

One of my few payware aircraft..............

The last CFS2 version of the Alphasim F-4

It came with a vast assortment of weapons and a gun pod

Least not.................South East Asia Camo

Just before alphasim closed it's internet site..............I believe it was released as freeware..........

but I can't find it anywhere............
 
ALPHASIM PHANTOMS

Aren't all the Alphasim freeware releases listed under the AlphaOldies section in the library? Phantoms, etc are there.:salute:
 
Fibber, yes most are/were. But stick to Cees' link, thereare new additions plus the initial runs of Alpha freeware (like the archives and other sites) were without panels, etc. IIRC ALL the ones on the new link come with panels/gauges/sometimes sound, etc. A more complete pack to be had.

ALPHASIM PLANES

NP; just thought the lists were the same. So I learned something new about the jets and the Alpha sim d/l's.

I did not know Alphasims closed down. I did some research and I guess some of there people went here. I know, Some of you guys already new that. Don't steal me thunder. ;-)

I believe that cartoon got lost in the last Great Crash of 2008/2009.

along with my Sproogle and Eart montage............which I did not backup........

which ...as usual....was probably for the best............not totally PC
 
PHANTOM SOUNDS

While on the subject of the "Smokepot", anyone know of some good sounds besides the Lear45 for this bird? The same with the A4.

Take advantage of a free payware

Not to distract from Tango Romeo's F4.....which I would rank a close 2nd to Alpha sim

But...........

.......anyone not familiar with Alphasim's F-4

Take the chance to get a Free .......payware F-4 that is really very good.

Burn in on CD ........because it is not available on most sites

Comes in both SE Asia Camo and USN colors........see link above

Here is a shot of the USN variant

I believe jet sounds should be on the download list somewhere from alphasim

TR's F4 that Dirt mentions is the upgrade/update/completion of this one. The downside to both the TR and Alphasim F4s is that they both use the Alphasim weapons. These weapons are susceptible to the 'no show' bug when more than one version of the wep bgl is present on your system. This happens fairly frequently since the wep bgls were published both separately and in libraries by Alphasim, and it is not readily apparent when a duplication exists.

I always alter the dp and loose the alphasim weapons .................

The planes are what I like alphasim for..........

So........modify your F-4 with your own loadouts...........

once you get the plane of your liking.......in this case

I recommend the Alphasim f-4 II
