Who wore 'em..?

Man, those were famous. Designed to walk in sand on the beaches, they were popular in Phoenix, (far from any oceans, lol). I had a pair of similar souled shoes. They had waves on the bottoms of the shoes..

I wore desert boots and flip flops all my life, till they were not avaible anymore......(not the flip flops)lol
 
Not me. I wear Engineering boots.

You know what the difference is between cowboy boots and engineering boots don't ya?







With cowboy boots the B.S. is on the outside .... :mixedsmi:

Never in your or my life, ditto with those silly Crocs! Only a Nancy Boy around here would be caught dead in a pair.

Around here, it's boots and sneakers for real men.

supposed to simulate walking on sand or soft earth. aligns your spine and tones muscles you don't use properly because of modern walking surfaces and shoes. also supposed to reduce heel impact and be good for your knees.
i know a couple of people who have them and both have said that now that they have been wearing them they no longer wish to wear conventional footwear.

Still wearin' regular ol' New Balance like I've been for years and years. Never had a problem.
 
I wear Assault Boots.... Everywhere, unless in formal/Dress Uniform then it's the Parade Shoes :jump: which reminds me they needs polishin'
