Presenting charter cargo hauling flight from PANC to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport located 5 miles southwest of downtown Anchorage to PAUN Unalakleet Airport located one nautical mile north of the central business district of Unalakleet in the Nome Census Area
Cruising at FL300 after take off from PANC with nice background view of full moon
Cruising above pretty Alaskan snow landscape
On descent from FL300 to 3,000 ft on way to PAUN runway
Having fun flying through clouds during descent
Emerging from clouds
More clouds to pass through
At 3,000 ft above snowy landscape
On final runway approach to runway 32
Look at frozen waters of Norton Sound
Dig the airport scene where you can find famous Jim Tweto's red plane parked there
Seconds before touchdown
TOUCHDOWN
Braking down on very slippery ice runway
Stopped with plenty of runway distance left
Backtracking on icy runway with hope that my plane would NOT slide out of runway into ground!!
Taxiing toward the terminal
Crossing intersection of two runways
Exiting from runway into passenger and cargo apron
Arriving at cargo apron with background view of famous green Era building where you can see the pickup truck next to the green building which is the same truck that a rookie Era airline pilot would later accidentally wrecks the driver's door not realizing the winds would be too strong enough to wreck it when opening it!!
Yikes look at icy cargo apron ground
