Whohoo; 2500 hrs!

Warrant

Videre Vincere Est
Got a total of 2503 hrs in FSX, of which a large amount in the Aerosoft F-16 (second largest number most likely the F-9F).

I never compress time, and rarely fly tubeliners, so these are thrue "FSX, life at the stick" hours.

How many did you clock?

thats a milestone for sure

no idea where I am in FSX as I have a couple of rebuilds and HD failures since day one

I think I have more posts here than hours flown though...by a long stretch

1100 hours in FSX for me, mostly in fighter types, with the exception of a few military heavies like the B-52 and B-1.

I don't blame you for not flying Tubeliners in FSX. I'll be hitting 19,000 hours in real Tubeliners this summer, and I don't waste my days off messing with Tubeliners!

Same with me too heywooood. Didn't fly FSX much until I built a new computer, so as able to fly FSX properly.

A real-world airline captain I know told me they are limited to approx. 900 hours per year. So 19k flying hours would be clocked over 21+ years, more or less.

I just passed the 6000 hour mark@ 6135.1 in the logbook.

I have an unofficial goal to try to reach 10,000hrs before MS Flight comes out. :)

Here's my usage tracker with the top ten aircraft hours wise. The B-29 is the only FS9 aircraft still remaining in the top ten.

Wow, compared to that i'm just a rookie :salute:

How do you import that data in excell, or do you have a nice gadget for that?

How long are you flying,Bone? 19k!! :isadizzy::icon_lol:

I got my first flying job in June 1989, as a flight instructor. My second job in July 1991, as a freight dog. And my current job in March of 1993, as an airline puke.

The FAA max for FAR 121 ops (airlines) is limited to 1000 hours a year. How much a pilot flys depends on the schedules his company builds, and what he can hold according to his seniority.

The captain in question was reporting the maxima of his own particular (European) airline, but not too dissimilar from what the FAA stipulates. What kind of aircraft have you flown Bone?

I had to manually create and import all of the data originally. Once that was done I just make sure that after each flight I update the individual aircraft's hours and make sure that the spread sheet total hours matches what FSX shows.

I use LogBookManager0.2 as my real FSX logbook and it does all it's own importing. I couple it's data with LogBookReader 1.00D which keeps track of individual aircraft totals.

Another idea I had for creating the tracker was to see if I could see a trend in which type of aircraft I build up the most hours in. That's why all the little code stuff off to the right.

My hours are far fewer: 337. However I have 1167 landings or more than three per hour. I don't fly very long in FSX (shorter than my real life flights).

300 odd hrs in fsx from memory, though that covers mainly carrier circuits. All in I have something in the order of 250 fsx traps. Wish there was a way to determin what wire was caught.

Craig

...9685,6 hours total (since FS5.1) but only 635,4 within FSX :salute:
Mostly bushplanes and helicopters since FS7 (FS2000).
Also I commit myself to have at least 15% of montly flown hours to be flown at night.

I simply put the flighthours from the logfiles directly in an excel made logbook, all by hand.:icon_lol:

Cheers,
Hank
