I have a routine in my everyday life. Mondays through Fridays, if my daughter has school, we wake up early, I wake up at 5:00am, cooks her breakfast, wakes her up at 6:10 am, gives her a quick shower, fixes her long wavey hair, (she always wanted it on a pony tail), feeds her, made sure she brushes her teeth; dresses her up (she wears her school uniform) and drops her off to her day care at 6:45am or later. Her school doesn't start till 7:20am. Although her school is just a block away from our apartment, I drop her off to her daycare and they drop her off to school- it saves me time and SANITY. (we live very close to school that school bus is not an option)
Saturdays (daughter goes to her ballet class) and Sundays (after church) I drop her off to her dad for a few hours; after the quick visitation, daughter and I go to the beach, eat at a local restaurant, sing Karaoke, or just being lazy stay at home... Her dad wants her every weekend rather than every other weekend, (but only in a few hours)..
The one hour 5-6am is where I have my quiet time.
I used to drop her off at school at 7am, the drop off takes me about an hour or more to get off to the school drop-off-queue. Parents with school kids know what I am talking about.
YES, I pay extra money for my sanity-
If I have the energy, I go shopping at walmart or target these are the shops close to my place that opens 24 hours or go grocery shopping.
In the afternoon, I pick my daughter up at 2:45 pm, at her day care, sometimes, I pick her up before 6pm, if I am very busy at work. Gives her dinner, helps her do her home work, makes sure she gets a shower, (she's 8, she can take a shower by herself but I make sure her hair is combed in the shower while it is still wet - otherwise, it will take us an hour and a half combing the tangles)
I get the early dose of SOH before I drop her off to school, after my quiet time! After the drop off, I go back to my computer and check my mails, and hang out at SOH, till I get tired and go back to take a nap. Work starts at noon or later, for me, I work at home, West Coast time.
Early today, SOH would turn on, I emailed every person I know to help me. I almost lost my mind :isadizzy:
Now, call me insane, addict, or whatever.... (what was I doing before the SOH and flying days?)
SOH and flying is the only vice I have, aside from shopping! :isadizzy:
I have a lot of time slackin' at home, where I fly on my favorite FS9 aircrafts. (I fly FSX and XP9 as well)
And tell me who is not insane from among us these days?
OK.... Back to my sane world!
