Saw someone in the FSX forum ask for a triple-installer for an add-on plane supporting FSX, Prepar3D 1.4, and Prepar3D 2.x.
Why are some people still running 1.4?
Ohhh the Phantom.
A bit OT, but I bought the Milviz Beta Phantom and noticed that it's for FSX only. After a painful wait for 8 weeks or so I thought I'd try it in P3D V2.4 anyhow and installed it.
Shouldn't have done so - after the next update it crashed P3D to the point where I had to do a complete P3D re-install.
The lost clickability of the VC cockpit on ___some__ older aircraft is something I also noticed, but this has almost no impact on my rig because I hardly use the VC switches. I have a full Saitek dash set (radio, autopilot + trim + flaps, switch panel) for that. The rest can be accessed via keyboard. What I'm trying to say is that impact of the loss of that functionality depends on how you use it.
A bit worse is that some older gauges seem to act up in 2.4, as well as some effects.
Cheers,
Mark
