Wilde Sau Leuchtstrassen and Fühlungshalter aircraft

Does anyone know what these consisted of. I have the map from Gyges, but no details of their make up. I have heard that they may have been flares dropped by Fühlungshalter aircraft, Anyone know anything about what kind of aircraft these might have been?

Funny you should ask, as I know what type of planes dropped these flares.......:wavey:
 
Ha ha M...I'll tell you then...various ac were used, but I know the the Ju88S and T's, and He177 did. The Ju88S/T were fast and could carry a reasonable amount of flares, and the He177 could get good height, speed and loitre time with a larger payload. Possibly also the later model Do217's were used.

Yes those were the planes and yes 217's were used as well. The funny thing is except for the JU88 T we have all of those right now.....imagine that. The trick will be to have them drop the flares.....
 
Thank you 'gentlemen'.:untroubled: I will see if suitable spawns can be made, but as Ted says, to actually get them drop flare might be an issue. IIR, I did spawns before for TIs, so I might try and remember how I did that, and it may not involve actual aircraft.
