Things are quietening down at the moment but if the winds get up again then things could quickly escalate.
The pilot who died was working on a fire on the NSW South Coast and it is said that a wing parted from the aircraft prior to the crash.
There is also a lot of discussion that climate change is not helping matters. And to make matters worse we have a new Federal Government that is run by a mix of people who are clones of your Tea Party and members of the Flat Earth Society. Our Enviroment Minister actually uses Wikipedia to get his information and our Prime Minister says that scientists who say climate change is happening are just talking through their hats.
