Will this laptop run FSX?

I have this laptop, and want to know if FSX might run ok on it? Am not using it for much of anything, except for taking on trips.

Can't see why it wouldn't.
You might not be able to install SP2/Acceleration, though. Like me, you could be stuck at SP1.

I wouldn't bother. Not enough ram, processor speed, and the graphics card is lackluster.

I have a Dell Studio that has similar specs: Core Duo T6400 which is 2 Ghz, 4 Gig of RAM, Vista 64, and a lame video card that is typical of laptops. FS9 runs just fine on it with scenery settings fairly high. FSX is a slide show. I'd go with FS9.

Chief you might give it a shot. I have been surprised more than once at laptops I thought were incapable of flying FSX. The AMD clock for clock is not as fast as the 2Ghz Intel processors but if you can upgrade your memory amount you may come out alright. Notebook memory is cheap.

You can do carrier ops very handily - using Rob Barendregt's RCBCO-30.
