Think I'm about halfway there... Got a foo fighter in something called a F-22 buzzing around at a high rate of speed. Fred's getting dizzy trying to keep it in his sights.
 
Heading on west to WAJJ. I'm on the SOH server in case anyone is interested.
 
A rather longish flight for me, but I didn't get too off course. I did mess up my distance calculations somehow as I picked up the radio compass signal from the Saratoga earlier than I expected to. Finally I spotted the carrier between the cloud cover and dove down to get into the pattern. Then I hit a fog that dropped the visibility down a few notches. Once I reacquired the Sara, it was a simple matter of dropping the wheels and tailhook and coming on it.

Think we'll spend the night here in a warm comfy rack and take off tomorrow after coffee and donuts.
