Win10 Teamspeak Users

I seem to have a unique problem, not shared by others. I am now fully Win10 and since I use Teamspeak every day I was concerned about its functionality. Everything appeared to be fine at first glance, however there is a problem. When Team speak is active and I'm flying in the Sim (P3D or FSX) if the TS window is active I can talk to whoever else is on TS with me. If I make the Sim window active, I can no longer communicate on TS. I use the Push-to-talk function and was using the "ctrl" key to talk. . .I switched over to a button on my joystick thinking that might correct it. . . .nope.

2 years ago when I tried the early release version of Win10 I had the same problem (I found my post on the TS Forums) but never got an answer from their support forum. I went back to Win7 and the problem went away. I have spoken with one other who is using Win 10 and does not exhibit the same problem, so I'm at a loss as to why this is happening. Has anyone else run into this with Win10?

I was doing some research for you Ed when you disappeared from Teamspeak and it seems you are not the only person to have this issue (according to Mr. Google). The answer on various forums was always the same, run TS as an administrator and the problem will go away. Apparently numerous games can block key presses from getting out to background programs and running as admin forces Teamspeak to stay active even if it's not the primary application at the time.

had the same problem . Try right clicking on your TS icon and run as admin then go to flight sim . That fixed it for me .

In windows 10, run everything as admin, especially installers. Just an advice.
