Windows 2000 Pro??

I never thought to ask if OFF will run in Windows 2000 Pro (I have SP4). I guess figuring CFS 3 was old enough it would, I figured OFF would run wherever CFS 3 would. However, someone brought up in another thread I started that it might not. Several people had seen the thread and not mentioned, but today someone did bring it up. Did I just order a new copy of CFS 3 and sign up for OFF 3 for nothing? I hope not.

I used to run Phase 1 on Windows Me which is similar. I dont know how much the OFF manager has changed since then, or if it has been tested with the older OS's. A good question.

I was under the impression that 95,98, and ME were similar, and 2000 was similar to XP.

You could be right. I just know that flew OFF P1 on my old Me system and it worked just fine. Im no OS pro so dont take my word for it. Perhaps someone on the OFF could shed some light on your question.

Makes sense, because I went from 98se to Windows 2000 with a Pentium III, when the Pentium IV came out I bought a new rig in XP, I couldn't see any major difference, other than speed :kilroy:

For me 2000 Pro has been the most reliable and most stable OS. I guess XP Pro is not bad, but I do not like Vista at all, XP is bloated enough. I hope OFF will run on 2000 Pro.

ran off ph1 and pph2 on 2000 pro wiht no problems what so ever i keep an older machne wihtit on for testing of such items once i get ph3 ill defintly have a tr\y at it

P3 is only tested on XP and Vista. It MAY work fine on Windows 2000 but we have no idea and no way to support that.
